Ghent Fashion Night: Event Report

So yesterday evening was this Ghent Fashion Night...honestly I was disappointed. I paid 65€ for a place to sit. I sat down on a kind of bench and I didn't see a lot. Even the people who stood (and who paid only 15€) have seen better than me. The fashion show was, despite all this, really nice to see. The looks were great, the music too. The models looked great.
Congrats to Miss Gelaude!

Then the party...was so really boring. The drinks were exhaustively expensive, the people were only talking (no, not dancing) and the music was too loud and monotone; and that's why I left the place and went to a lovely spanish bar to have some drinks with my friend.

I also got a goodie bag. I was a bit disappointed of the content:
- a mini-ELLE
- some sample from KIEHL's
- a paper from MAC (you'll get a present in the GHENT-MAC-Shop, but I'm never there)
- some advertising for shops, blogs,...
- the BLACK BALLOON BIBLE
- a gapPRESS (a LOVELYYY magazine)
- a WeAr Cd-Rom

That's it...

Outfit For The Ghent Fashion Night

Hey pretty people!

Yesterday evening I went to Ghent because the fashionblogger Emma Gelaude was organizing the first Ghent Fashion Night ever.

I chose my outfit this week and I bought it in several shops from Liège. My bordeaux leather-look pant are from OBJECT and my top is from BERSHKA. The shoes are from Colours and my necklace is Dyrberg/Kern. I wa salso wearing my New Look ring and a black Primark clutch (which one is not on these pictures). As you can maybe notice, my hair is darker than before because I coloured it in a lovely golden-dark-brown.

I hope that you like this outfit and have a look at my event report.

Sunday: Keeping It Simple

Hey everyone!
I am someone who hates sundays because everything is so...QUIET! And I'm so not quiet. So I'm trying to while away the time: I'm taking pictures for my blog. So, here we are. I'm dressed in a simple, classic and elegant way.
Here the outfit I chose for today!

Jacket: Massimo Dutti   Scarf: Burberry   Blouse: Mango   Jeans: New Look   Necklaces: Dyrberg/Kern and H&M   Ring: Swarovski   Shoes: bought them in rome but I forgot the name of the shop   Bag: Primark.

PRIMARK- again

Hey people!
Sorry for not posting earlier but I was so busy with my lessons at university. I actually became in a short peroid of time a school-book-shopping-queen. Despite my lack of freetime, I had few minutes before my dancelessons in the evening to have a look at PRIMARK because I needed a really huge bag to carry all my brand new books home. I found the bag (14€), a pair of black ballerinas (8€) and a lovely silver necklace (5€). I also bought a little black dress on Zalando but I'm going to do a post later.

See you very soon and thanks for stopping by!

First day at UNIVERSITY

Hey folks!
Today I went for the first time to the university (the first time as a REAL student). Of course I was really excited, so much excited that (clumsy as I am) I stumbled and got badly hurt. Luckily there was a nice hairdresser who helped me to stand up and who put some cool tissues on my knocks. Then I was ready to start my new life!

I took some pictures of my outfit and my lovely vintage bike which one I used to ride to the train station. It used to be my mothers very first bike.

My shorts are MANGO, my top, my belt and my jacket are from The Sting. The shoes are H&M, the necklace is Dyrberg/Kern. I bought my bag in Spa but unfortunately I forgot the shop's name.

Vintage Market

Hey people!

Yesterday I went to a vintage market in a lost part of Liège (I don't remember the name, but I think it was in Bressoux). There wasn't much choice but I found a loooovely brown/grey croco bag for only 8€. It smells like old clothes, surely, but I really like this bag. It's small, cute but in the inside there are different compartments, so that your stuff stays well-ordered.

What did I pick today?

Hey people!

Today I'm dressed in a simple way: jeans, shirt, leather jacket. Tonight I'm going to have a drink with some friends that's why I'm not too dressed up. My shirt and the ring are from New Look, the jeans are PRIMARK, the shoes too. The bangles are H&M, as same as the necklace. The other necklace is Dyrberg/Kern. In the last time, I'm always wearing these two necklaces together, I think it looks really nice!

I hope that you like my outfit!

The Belgian Girl ♥ Hasselt

Hey people! Yesterday I went to Hasselt because I heard it's a lovely city for shopping.
I discovered a shop I never went before: THE STING. Surely, they have a lot of bad stuff but I found some real jewels:

1. Jacket (69.95€)

2. Top (10€)

3. Belt (9.95€)
At the end of the day I went to a lovely italian restaurant/lounge bar (unfortunately I forgot the name)where I drank a delicious Mojito and where the pizza's are great! I really had a lovely day over there! Here my outfit: MANGO jacket & shorts, Massimo Dutti top, FURLA bag and PRIMARK sandals.

ZOEVA Cosmetics

Hey people!
A week ago I ordered on Zoeva some beauty products: an eyeshadow-pen, an eyeshadow-palette and a pencil sharpener. They arrived today and I was so excited to try them on.

At first, the Forever Eye Crayon (4.50€): I ordered it in the colour CANDLELIGHT. This is a really nude and golden colour. I apply this on in the inner corner of my eye to light my eyes up.

The Nude Shimmer Palette (16.95€) : 28 lovely nude colours with a shimmery touch. The colours look great, I directly created a little look for my eyes with that palette.

The duo sharpener (2.80€) : I'm not going to be incredibly happy with a sharpener, I just bought it to fit with the eye crayon, so...

You can buy the products on Zoeva
The prices are really affordable so I recommend them.

Peplum, Peplum, Peplum

Hey everybody!
Here an IT-Piece for F/W 2012-2013. Everyone is talking about peplums. At the beginning I was very sceptical about that trend but I saw this lovely blue/purple peplum top at PRIMARK so that I decided to buy it. Finally, I'm really happy with this top because it looks stylish, cute and expensive even if it wasn't.

I'm wearing the top with my black PRIMARK jeans, my FURLA handbag, my Dyrberg/Kern necklace and my Swarovski ring. The shoes are lovely black peeptoes from H&M. My nail polish is the "Twilight" from the PRIMARK Nail Polish Box. I hope that you like this outfit!
