Just Seb Coiffure

Hey people! Today I went to the hairdresser. I chose a new one: "Just Seb" next to the University in Liège. I'm really happy with my haircut! I paid 40€ for a good cut, a lovely hairdresser and a funny location. The salon is so colourful and inspiring. It's very small over there but I feel very welcome. The owner Sebastien is so nice and lovely! It's really worth it to go and let style your hair over there! You can find his page on Facebook (Just Seb Coiffure). Here few pictures:

Gold

Hey, here few pictures of my jewellery today. The ring is from New Look and the bracelets are actually from family gifts. I'm sure that your granny's gave you a lot of their old jewellery, but you don't know how to wear them. Well in my case I got a lot of little, small gold bracelets which ones I'm wearing all together so that it looks a bit like "more".

I hope you like it!

New In My Closet

Yesterday I bought some really cute earrings in Liège. I like discrete and simple earrings because they are not obtrusive like some other ones. And you can wear them with almost everything. Mine are from Gipsy in Liège (a horrible shop, but these earrings were so cute, the only thing that was in fact). I paid them 22€.

Pearls & Jeans

Hey people!

Today I'm wearing one of my favourite items: my VILA top (around 40€). It's in a really thin grey fabric and at the front you have a lot of embellishements. And I'm completely foolish on embellishements on tops.
They make look it so expensive (but in fact it wasn't). I combine it with my Tally Weijl shorts, my FURLA handbag, my H&M and Dyrberg/Kern necklaces and some really cute PRIMARK sandals. The top is a bit shorter than ordinary tops so that, if you put (for some strange reasons) you arms above your head, you can see a bit of the nicely tanned summer skin. I'm not wearing any kind of top under it (even if you see my bra from the back) because I think that in that case the whole lightness of the top would go away.

I hope that you like my outfit!

I Got A Pocket Full Of Sunshine

Hey people!

Today I went to the university because I'm following courses to prepare my dutch for the language lessons I'll have in my studies.
I just chose the outfit I think that I'm going to wear tomorrow (if the weather stays like that and if I'm not going to change my mind). I'm wearing a H&M blouse, a C&A top and Tally Weijl jeans shorts. The shoes are from Miss Sixty and the bag is from H&M. Necklaces: H&M, Dyrberg/Kern. Bracelets: H&M and Accessorize. Sunglasses are from Topshop. I like that outfit because it looks relaxed and it's really comfortable.
The lenght of the blouse has almost the same length than my top and my shorts together. I think that this looks really great because finally the whole look ends at the same length (if you actually understand what I mean, I know it's confusing).

I hope that you like my outfit and I'll think of you if ever you're one of the poor people who have to study right now for their exams!

R.E.D.

Hey everybody! I worked today at the footballclub of Liège (Standard). I'm working there as a hostess. For my today's look I got inspired by the colour of that club: RED! So I chose my red New Look blouse, my H&M jeans and my Pearlz high heels. Necklace is from Dyrberg/Kern and the ring from Swarovski. This evening I'll go out to a village party (oohh yeah, boring I know) to meet people. I hope that you like my outfit. Don't forget, if ever you've questions you can mail me at thebelgiangirl@gmail.com

Little Beauty Secrets

Since  my 12 years, my skin looks really bad. I suffered from skin problems a long long time. These years hurt me so bad because people actually judge you if you have spots or not. This is so sad to say but...it's like this...The people made me feel so ugly and uncomfortable with myself. And it still goes on today. This kind of experiences marks you for the life.

Then, my skin got better and better after doing a cure at 16 and by using the BABOR products. I  found out that, in fact, I had that much spots because my skin was really sensitive. I was always using products against acne but there were making it even worse because they were way too agressive.

Then I discovered, like I already said, the BABOR products. My mother was using them for years and she has almost the same skin as me. I took the HY-Oil, the Phytoactive Sensitive Care, the Basic Day Cream for sensitive skin and few weeks ago my mother bought that really nice serum: The Basic Care Moisture Serum. That thing is really doing miracles. I put it on my face in the morning, after having washed my face and before putting on the basic cream. The feeling of my skin is so...nice and soft. This is a feeling that I never had with my horrible spots. I really recommend the BABOR prdoucts. You can actually only buy them in Germany but they also deliver to your home.

I hope that I helped maybe some of you guys...

Hey people!

I went today to the university of Liège to sign up for my studies (Communication and Information).
Back home, I had a look at few online stores and chose few items that I really love! I plan to buy few of them (if ever I have enough money!)I really like to buy on british online stores because very often they have such different clothes as you find in ordinary shops in Belgium. I'm Blue...

Hey everyone!
I still can not believe what is going on with our weather in Belgium! Usually our summer is supposed to be full of rain and clouds but this month of august is so sunny! I'm completely happy because I can benefit to jump in my pool all the time!

Today I'm wearing a OBJECT top (around 40€), Fornarina jeans, Marks&Spencer sandals and a Castella handbag. My bangle is pieces and my necklace is Dyrberg/Kern. I love this look so much because the top is so colourful. When I'm wearing it, i'm getting so optimistic and cheerful!

Le Carré de Liège

Hey!

If you're not someone who lives in Liège, here is an advice if you ever want to go out in that fabulous city!
The well known "Carré" is the best place ever to hang out with friends, to dance, to sing and to do secret things...

What is the "Carré"?
In fact there are around 6 streets full of trendy and quirky bars. The peolpe are actually really laid-back and nice. But if you stay too late you'll make some unwelcome and maybe dangerous encounters.
There are few bars which ones are my favourites!

1. La Guimbarde

Really nice to chill out and to talk with friends. If you cross the street there is a terrace where (in summer) the owners are organizing karaoke. This is so much fun with friends (once i sang "Voulez Vous Coucher Avec Moi" with two friends and we laughed sooo much)

2. Cuba'r

In this place the main theme is CUBA! The music is full of rhythm and often there are a lot of latinamericanos dancing salsa. I think that this bar is the only one whith a romatic atmosphere.

3. Far West

Really nice decoration inside! You feel like in...,well in the Far West. I highly recomment to buy on of the shots bottle for around 20€. They taste sooo good!

4. The terraces

At the main cross from the "Carré" are a lot of terraces where you can sit down if inside of the bars it's too hot. I love to sit there with friends an to talk about all the people that we see (because there are very often really strange cases)

I hope that this might help you if you'll come to visit the best city on this planet!

My Beauty Favourites for August

Few weeks ago I went to the city tu buy some makeup. I finally came home with one lipstick, one compact powder, one foundation and one blush. Now, that I tested them, I highly recommend them.

1. BOURJOIS lipstick "sweet kiss 49 rosé alluré"
A really nice colour to wear with a brown eye makeup and a peach blush. It looks very fresh and nice on tanned skin (but also on my white face). The only thing that I dont like is that after few hours the lipstick is making little crumbs. But I love it! It was around 11€ I think.

2. BOURJOIS compact powder "healthy balance unifying powder 52 vanille"
I like to fix my foundation with this really nice compact powder. It holds quite long on my face and it bewares me of having a too shiny skin. I took the brightest colour because I hate to look too orange or something.I apply this powder with a big powder brush all over my face.

3. BOURJOIS blush "39 rose mandarine"
I wear this blush with the lipstick and a brown eye makeup. This blush doesn't hold very long on my skin, I often need to correct it every 2/3 hours. But the colour is great!

4. Maybelline "Fit Me 115"
I just loooooove that foundation. I tried out a lot of foundations, also really expensive ones, but this one is the best I've ever worn. I apply it with a brush. Very important is not to spread it but to dab it. Like this the skin looks quite perfect and unified.

I hope that this beaty post helped you. These products are really not expensive and they are really good for that price!
